Last night I browsed this list of Columbidae for some time.  I’ve got a thing for doves but only recently found they are one in the same as pigeons, who I also hold an affection for. There’s been talk of a joint effort to illustrate the birds in this family and I’d really like to do it. This was a little sketch with shaky too much coffee this afternoon hands.  I am extremely fond of St. Francis of Assisi so it is easy to see why this is of interest to me.
